Wind measurements were initiated at the Kenkäkangas wind park in Sievi. Semecon Oy’s partners include Mastacraft, a mast manufacturer based in Ylivieska, which was responsible for erecting the mast and earthworks. The erected mast is currently 198m tall, making it the tallest measurement mast available.
The measurement campaign commenced in August, with the erection of the mast and installation of the measuring equipment. The measurements are expected to last from one to two years.
