A maximum of 5 wind turbines are planned for Peuraneva wind farm. The launch of the project has been delayed due to the investigation by the Finnish Defense Forces related to the radar surveillance. The zoning initiative has been approved in Siikalatva municipality in the spring of 2022. For Raahe, zoning process has been started. With the updated survey related to the radar surveillance, the placement of wind turbines in the area is more limited than in the original design. The project will carry out an environmental impact assessment.
